Welcome to MettleMark (hereinafter referred to as "the Store"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Store's website (mettlemark.com), including browsing, purchasing, customizing metal seals, and availing related services. By accessing or using the Store's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Store's services.

I. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law to use the Store's services.

By placing an order, you represent and warrant that:

When you submit an order through the Store's website, you are making a binding offer to purchase the selected metal seals (including customized products) at the listed price, plus applicable taxes, shipping fees, and other charges.
Customization requirements (e.g., engraving content, size, material, design) must be clearly specified during checkout. The Store is not liable for errors or misunderstandings arising from incomplete or ambiguous customization instructions.

2. Order Acceptance

The Store reserves the right to accept or reject your order in whole or in part. Order acceptance is confirmed only when:
The Store sends you an order confirmation email with a valid order number.
Payment is successfully processed through Shopify's authorized payment systems.
If your order is rejected (e.g., due to out-of-stock products, invalid payment, or non-compliant customization requests), the Store will notify you promptly and refund any pre-paid amounts within 5-7 business days.

3. Pricing & Payment

All product prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change without prior notice. However, the price charged at the time of order submission will be honored, provided the order is accepted.
You agree to pay all applicable fees (product price, taxes, shipping, and customization fees) at the time of checkout. The Store accepts payment methods specified on the website (e.g., credit cards, PayPal), all of which are processed securely through Shopify's payment gateway.
The Store is not responsible for any additional charges imposed by your bank or payment provider (e.g., foreign transaction fees).

III. Customization & Product Specifications

1. Customization Terms

Custom metal seals are made-to-order based on your provided specifications. Once production has started (typically within 24-48 hours of order confirmation), customization requests cannot be modified or canceled.
The Store reserves the right to refuse customization requests that:
Violate intellectual property rights (e.g., copyrighted logos, trademarks without authorization).
Contain offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content (e.g., hate speech, discriminatory language, counterfeit-related designs).
Are technically unfeasible (e.g., overly complex engravings that cannot be reproduced on metal).

2. Product Specifications

All metal seal descriptions, images, and specifications (e.g., material, size, weight, engraving depth) are provided for illustrative purposes. Minor variations may occur due to the handcrafted nature of metal products or differences in display devices.
The Store endeavors to ensure product accuracy, but disclaims any liability for minor discrepancies that do not affect the functionality of the product.

IV. Shipping & Delivery

1. Shipping Terms

The Store ships to destinations specified on the website. Shipping fees are calculated based on the destination, package weight, and selected shipping method (e.g., standard, expedited).
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs clearance, carrier issues, or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters). The Store is not liable for delivery delays caused by third-party carriers.

2. Delivery Confirmation

You are responsible for providing a valid and accessible shipping address. The Store is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages if the shipping address provided is incorrect or incomplete.
Upon delivery, the carrier will obtain a signature (where required) as proof of receipt. If no one is available to receive the package, the carrier may leave it at the address or arrange for re-delivery, per their standard procedures.

3. International Shipping

For international orders, you are responsible for paying all customs duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by the destination country. The Store has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
Customs clearance processes may vary by country and may cause additional delays. You agree to comply with all import regulations of the destination country.

V. Returns & Refunds

1. Eligibility for Returns

Due to the customized nature of metal seals, returns are only accepted in the following cases:
The product is defective (e.g., cracked metal, faulty engraving, non-functional design) upon receipt.
The product does not match the customization specifications you provided (excluding minor variations).
Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. To request a return, contact customer service with your order number, photos of the product, and a detailed description of the issue.

2. Return Process

The Store will review your return request within 3 business days. If approved, you will receive a return authorization number and shipping instructions.
Returned products must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by all accessories (if applicable). You are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a defect or error by the Store.
The Store reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these requirements.

3. Refunds & Exchanges

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, the Store will process a refund to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Refunds include the product price and any applicable taxes, but exclude original shipping fees (unless the return is due to a Store error).
For defective or incorrect products, you may choose to receive a replacement (if available) instead of a refund. Replacement lead times may vary based on customization requirements.

4. Non-Refundable Items

Customized metal seals that are not defective or do not have specification errors are non-refundable, as they are made specifically for your order.

VI. Intellectual Property

1. Store Intellectual Property

All content on the Store's website (e.g., product images, logos, descriptions, design templates, text) is the property of the Store or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

2. Your Intellectual Property

By submitting customization requests (e.g., logos, text, designs), you warrant that you have the legal right to use the content and that it does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
You grant the Store a limited, non-exclusive license to use your customization content solely for the purpose of producing your order. The Store will not use your content for any other purpose without your consent.

VII. Limitation of Liability

1. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Store provides metal seals and related services "as is" and "as available" without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
The Store does not warrant that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

2. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Store, its owners, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (e.g., lost profits, lost business opportunities) arising from your use of the Store's services or products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The Store's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of the Store's services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

3. Exceptions
